St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church hosted the 13th annual SerbFest this weekend, enabling Phoenicians to “visit Serbia without a passport.” The event included authentic Serbian music, dancing, food and drink.
Cadets from the U.S. Army ROTC Sun Devil Battalion implemented their fields of study during a training day at Papago Military Reservation that tested their skills in land navigation, weapon assembly, first aid and other military leadership challenges. The cadets faced realistic scenarios they are likely to encounter once out in the field.
Every first and third Friday of the month, St. Vincent de Paul hosts a pizza night in its family dining room in Phoenix. The event was started by an ASU professor passionate about both pizza and feeding people. ASU Undergraduate Student Government Downtown has brought back the Sun Devil Express, this time expanding the times of the eight locations serviced from 6:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. and adding a Sunday route for groceries.
