Every first and third Friday of the month, St. Vincent de Paul hosts a pizza night in its family dining room in Phoenix. The event was started by an ASU professor passionate about both pizza and feeding people. ASU students have the opportunity to go out and make a difference, whether they help in the kitchen by rolling out dough, or take orders and serve the people who come in to eat.
ASU Undergraduate Student Government Downtown has brought back the Sun Devil Express, this time expanding the times of the eight locations serviced from 6:00 p.m. until 10:30 p.m. and adding a Sunday route for groceries.

Most people do not spend their weekends programming algorithm codes, but this is exactly how Arizona State University’s Software Developers Association (SoDA) spent Saturday morning during the club’s first code competition at the Brickyard in Tempe.
A total of 39 teams of up to three students were tasked to solve eight code problems, while members of State Farm, the event’s sponsor, tested and evaluated the codes. State Farm presented the students with a presentation on infrastructure of the State Farm website and also used the event as an opportunity to scout potential.
